BAFTA insanity

So let me get this straight: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri won best British film at the BAFTAs tonight over films such as Darkest Hour and Dunkirk, which are so British they practically bleed tea. I realize Three Billboards was written, directed and produced by a British man, but doesn’t this seem kind of insane to anyone considering the film is SO American and has almost all American stars and was filmed in America? And to prove this insanity, Dunkirk was not even nominated for best British film, but it WAS nominated for best overall film. So, um, it was one of the five best OVERALL films in the world last year but not among the five best British films?

I don’t have the time and energy to explain the rest of the award show’s mistakes. See the insanity for yourself at http://variety.com/2018/film/news/bafta-awards-2018-complete-winners-list-1202702940/.
