  • Box Office Mojo: a site that reveals what the highest-grossing movies of all time REALLY are. This list chronicles the highest grossing films by their inflation-adjusted domestic gross, the only true measure of success over time. For inflation-adjusted international gross, see Wikipedia. (These figures differ. For instance, this site offers some different numbers.)
  • Cinema365: a site of a friend of mine, Carlos DeVillalvilla, devoted to movie reviews.
  • Copyright Law: a discussion of what constitutes “fair use.” You will see images from copyrighted movies on this site and might wonder whether you can use these images on your own website. Although the issue is complicated, the short answer is if these images 1) represent just a tiny portion of the entire copyrighted work, 2) are not misrepresented as your own creation, 3) are not used for profit and 4) are intended to foster an intellectual or critical discussion of the work, they are NOT an infringement of copyright. Please note, however, that original photos by Cameron Meier found in the Photo Gallery pages may not be used without written permission.
