Short Film of the Day: ‘Curfew’

March 31, 2020

Curfew (2012), written and directed by Shawn Christensen, won the Oscar for live-action short at the 85th Academy Awards. In 2014, Christensen adapted the story into a feature, Before I Disappear, which never quite lived up to expectations. But that’s more of a compliment of the short than an insult of the feature, as Curfew is one of the most memorable short dramedies of all time.
