The 48 Hour Film Project

A chronological index of my articles

I have been associated with the 48 Hour Film Project in a variety of ways since 2013. I first wrote about the timed filmmaking competition in 2013 for both The Orlando Weekly and MeierMovies. I’ve since gone on to serve as a judge for the Orlando, Tampa and Richmond competitions, a judging coordinator for the Orlando competition, a judge for the 2018 Paris Filmapalooza (the international competition of the 48HFP) and a consulting judge for the 2019 Orlando Filmapalooza, 2023 Los Angeles Filmapalooza and 2024 Lisbon Filmapalooza. And I’ve had the pleasure of attending seven Filmapaloozas: 2014 in New Orleans, 2015 in Hollywood, 2016 in Atlanta, 2017 in Seattle, 2018 in Paris, 2019 in Orlando (which I helped organize) and 2023 in Los Angeles.

Below you will find links to all my articles related to the 48HFP, starting with the most recent. For more information, visit 48HourFilm.com. And go here for information on the Orlando competition.
