Experiments in 16mm

I shot this 16mm footage using a 1930s Keystone A-3 camera, at both Filmapalooza and the Florida Film Festival in Orlando, Florida, in 2019. It goes without saying that the experiment didn’t turn out too well. My apologies to those of you at Filmapalooza who were expecting better. (Almost all of this footage is from the Florida Film Festival at the Enzian Theater, not at Filmapalooza.) But it was still fun to play around with an old camera, and I will do so again soon — hoping for better results. (I’m still trying to discover whether the fault lies in the film, the developer, the camera or the cinematographer (me).)
