As he has done on countless other topics, Bill Maher offers his valuable take on today’s movie casting while diffusing the political tension with humor. Even if you don’t concur with Maher, I hope you’ll agree that his perspective is important. I put this out here without editorial comment, except to express my desire that the playing field of film casting be an equitable one, filled with fairness but also characterized by common sense and freedom of artistic expression.
