Charlie Chaplin Studios

This small studio and office complex in the heart of Hollywood was the famous Charlie Chaplin lot. Chaplin designed his studio to look like an English village. It opened in 1917 at the corner of La Brea and Sunset Boulevard. Unfortunately, it is not open to public tours.

These photos were taken in 2015 when it was the Jim Henson Studios. In 2026, following the purchase of the property by John Mayer and McG, the lot was renamed the Charlie Chaplin Studios.
