‘Age of Adaline’ not one for the ages

Thumbs-up (3 stars on 0-5 scale) for The Age of Adaline. It got me with its Romanticism and time-travel feel, though it lacked any real magic thanks to a just-there performance by Blake Lively, an odd script that failed to really capture the haunting passage of time, and its inability to challenge our notion of time — and life itself — the way The Curious Case of Benjamin Button did.
