Thoughts on Woody Allen
With a new HBO documentary series rekindling interest in Woody Allen, I have some thoughts on the legendary writer-director. Though I confine those thoughts mostly to his filmmaking career — and his 2019 film A Rainy Day in New York — I felt it was important to comment on the larger issues raised by the HBO series.
